Intership
Since October 2021, more than 40 interns from around the world have joined Ragam for hands-on experiences across community programs, local partnerships, and everyday life in Bali.
This is not a conventional office internship. It is an immersive experience designed to help you learn, contribute, and better understand both community work and your own role within it.
1.
More Than an Internship
2.
first two weeks: full immersion
3.
After that: you help shape the path

What's included and what isn't
Internships are unpaid. Free lunch at the community kitchen on working days is included, and Ragam covers transport for program-related activities you join, such as community visits, farm trips, water filter distributions, and related cultural stops.
Personal living costs, everyday expenses, and visa-related costs are not covered. Internship length is flexible, ranging from around one month to several months depending on your availability and what makes sense for both sides.
What we're looking for
We can teach skills, context, and systems. We cannot teach motivation
We are looking for people who are genuinely enthusiastic about community work and social impact, willing to take initiative, able to adapt to new cultures with curiosity and respect, and emotionally mature enough to handle at times, confronting realities. If you bring energy, openness, and a willingness to get involved, whether in the kitchen, in the field, or behind a laptop, you are likely to get the most out of this experience.
How to apply
Reach out by email or WhatsApp and we will schedule a short video call. The call is a chance to meet, talk through what an internship at Ragam looks like, and see whether it feels like a good fit for both sides.
If we decide to move forward, any university paperwork or supporting documents can be handled separately. We welcome people from different backgrounds and study fields, as long as they are ready to engage sincerely and treat the experience as more than just a line on a CV.
